Other things we are doing

The first thing you will notice arriving at our ranch are Solar panels.  We are officially a very small solar farm.  Producing 60,000 watts at peak production.  We export this to the grid.

This is enough to provide electricity for about 5 homes.

Planted 5 Pecan trees in 2024.  They are still immature.   It will be some time until we have pecans available to our guests.

Bee hives.

Bees keep nature buzzing along.  While Christmas trees do not need bees, flowers and crops need bees.  They also make honey. (yum) We have a couple of bee hives, just trying to do our share

We have a 20 acre hay field in the South Sulfur River bottom-land.  This is petty much a passive activity but It helps to feed cattle in the area.
